Project Summary

This confidential client was experiencing communication delays between their research staff and traders. The occupied areas and technology infrastructure within their space were separated and outdated. Time sensitive communication requiring urgent action by the traders was not occurring, leading to inefficiencies and compromised investment opportunities. A sea change was required for this client to make dramatic shifts in their design and use of space, and their ongoing services/operations.

To solve these challenges for the long term, new features included physical co-placement of research and trading associates during high volume trading day intervals. Abundant transparency between spaces, interconnecting stairs, highly enhanced adjacent pantries, live-feed monitors, and telepresence technologies were successfully integrated yielding outstanding performance results. The project was the catalyst for the organization to apply the same transformative planning, design, construction, and technologies to numerous investment locations globally totaling over 500,000 SF in three continents.
